Breaking in to Rock Star

I am taking a well earned break from bitching and so decided to steal a MEME (I KNOW. SHUT IT.) from the one and only Karl Erikson (I pretend he's my boyfriend sometimes, and say things like "OH, my internet boyfriend Karl does THIS and says THAT and LALALALALA" so that people stop giving me That Look because I am 42 and unmarried and then they don't want to introduce me to their boyfriends and husbands because CLEARLY I AM A BLACK WIDOW/COUGAR TYPE and OMG I forgot what I was even talking about just now. What?).

I saw this at Karl's place and he said it'd been around forever but I've never seen it so HOORAY, COOL!

There's this girl I know who just happens to live in the same great state. She's a mom, up until recently she was in school getting a degree, she's whimsical, funny with a subtle sarcasm. She's just great--great person, great writer, great mom. Of course I'm talking about Melessa from But I Digress.... If you don't read her blog, you damn well should.

One of my new pals, Burnt Offerings, apparently does not know that I will curse you with a case of boils for tagging me has kindly tagged me for a Meme!

Ok, so the purpose of this Unnamed Meme is to bring back some older posts and evidently was started by Mimi Pencil Skirt (or so I hear).

Actually I don't mind this one; I often re-post old stuff because it's frequently better than anything I could come up with now, plus I like the excuse to drag out some of my personal favorites. Yeah yeah, some of you will be all "OMG don't post that AGAIN! I've seen it a bazillion times already!"...and I am forced to reply, "Nyah nyah nyah I am the boss of me so I can do whatever I want. So there."
