My grandmother once bought me this little wooden cricket, all brightly-painted, because she wanted to "help cure me" of my fear of bugs. That was just ridiculous!! I wasn't afraid of brightly-colored fake bugs! I'm still not. (Hey - it must have worked!)

I read somewhere once that it's likely that every one of us will at one point in our lives eat a spider in our sleep. I've decided that because my husband is an avid outdoorsman, he has probably eaten mine for me.Christinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13501710690472006659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9580155.post-1109389344853629272005-02-25T21:42:00.000-06:002005-02-25T21:42:00.000-06:00Might I suggest you not apply to be a contestant o...Might I suggest you not apply to be a contestant on Fear Factor.

Just a thought.SC&Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08896449261475558935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9580155.post-1109385832417569322005-02-25T20:43:00.000-06:002005-02-25T20:43:00.000-06:00Don't you hate all the June Bugs here? I got pails of citronella candles, but they just fly in there and muck up the wax. Fortunately or unfortunately, now that I live here in the untamed wilderness - I have had to get over these fears. These days, I save my anxiety for the bigger wildlife - like the bears.

BTW- I thought Kim was going to get voted off too. She should have for not taking a turn during the challenge. Maybe next time. Those damn cute blondes...who do they think they are?? I know that 'hate' isn't a good word (my mama always told me not to use it) but there just isn't strong enough a word to describe my distaste for bees. They freak me out and I don't care how stupid I look running away from them at top speed, picnic plate flying behind me.LindseyOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01854324007177738140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9580155.post-1109366777671111672005-02-25T15:26:00.000-06:002005-02-25T15:26:00.000-06:00Bugs in general, don't bother me, but killing them...Bugs in general, don't bother me, but killing them does. I always think they are going to get back at me or something equally strange and highly unlikely.

On the other hand, I do hate one particular bug, bees. I don't care if they help us out in the grand scheme of things. Bees sting, even when unprovoked. Along with wasps and hornets and all the other related cousins.Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08262988549970554970noreply@blogger.com
